Job Description

• Knowledge and practice of RF planning and optimization processes
• Solid knowledge of Basic Radio procedures in VoLTE/LTE/UMTS technologies
• Experience in Analyzing VoLTE/LTE /5G KPI reports Good understanding of statistical methods to analyse data and trends
• Able to work independently and investigate performance impacting causes. Strong MS Excel and/or MySQL skills 
• Strong Communication skills Proven problem-solving skills.
• 4+ years of working experience in RF Planning & Optimization for VoLTE/LTE/UMTS/5G. Analyze network parameters and implementation of system changes for network optimization of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Nokia/Ericsson, Performance manger Experience and must work in network deployment for carriers adds.
• Telecom experience with Nokia/Ericsson /UMTS (6-8 yrs) Call process algorithm, 3GPP.
• Performance KPI optimization and trending and reporting.
• UMTS/LTE parameter auditing, changes/new features (CIQ/Scripts, integration & troubleshooting, site Parameter baseline alignment for new integrated sites with Golden parameters.
• Site Cluster RF optimization / tall site RF optimization / capacity layer optimization / handover optimization / parameter optimization
• ANR activation, Tier 1 Neighbor relation creation/deletion, RET configuration/definition and Troubleshooting on Antennas
• Capture network data ie logs & Follow agreed escalation timeframes. & Join and provide updates on technical bridges
• Perform KPI troubleshooting and Fault restoration, coordinating with 3rd parties, escalate to client management.
• RF Analysis based on coverage and capacity for major operators in united states.
• RF Prediction on Atoll tool for CBRS and LTE

Experience Needed

• Working Knowledge of LTE /5G
• Should have worked on the new carrier optimization.
• Should have a good command on Nokia RAN parameter changes
• Good knowledge of system topology and air interface parameters.
• Good experience and knowledge of optimization parameters and performance counters
• Good experience on use of mobile measurements for optimization
• Generate RF engineering related reports in Excel, Access.
• Monitoring , analysis and Reporting  of  critical KPIs CS/PS Ret., CS/PS Acc., IRAT HO optimization, HSPA throughput, NON-HS power utilization etc
